Bujinkan King Dōjō (武神館 キング 道場) training - 6th June 2022

We began by revising the methods of absorbing the force and moving from the pushing and pulling versions of Katamune Dori (片胸捕  - single lapel capture)

We then worked with the same principles, but applied to Sode-Tori (袖取 - sleeve hold), by subtly manipulating the opponent’s arm into:

  • Musha Dori 武者捕 – warrior capture
  • Musō Dori (武双捕 - paired martial capture)

Then using the feeling of ‘Ken tai ichi-jō' (拳体一条 - the fist and body are one), we practiced.

Sanshin no Kata  (三心の型  – three hearts form)

  • Chi no Kata  (地の型  - earth form)

Thank you - great work from everyone who attended.
