Safeguarding in Martial Arts

The primary responsibility of an instructor is the safety and wellbeing of students.

This is especially important in dealing with children and students, whom for whatever reason may be vulnerable.

This is an ethical and human responsibly for every instructor.

I have completed the British Martial Arts and Boxing Association (BMABA) 'Safeguarding in Martial Arts' qualification today.

I would encourage all instructors to familiarise themselves with and to adhere to safeguarding best practice.
