17th June 2022 seminar at the Ninpō Higuma Dōjō - Bujinkan Ile de France in Paris

We then worked with the same principles, but applied to Sode-Tori (袖取 - sleeve hold), by subtly manipulating the opponent’s arm into:

  • Musha Dori 武者捕 – warrior capture
  • Musō Dori (武双捕 - paired martial capture)

Sanshin no Kata (三心の型– three hearts form)

  • Chi no Kata (地の型 – earth form)
  • Sui no Kata (水の型– water form)
  • Ka no Kata (火の型– fire form)
  • Fu no Kata (風の型– air form)

With emphasis on how our initial movement presented the opportunity for the most effective follow on striking movements.

My thanks to Bruno Vicaire for organising. Great work and thank you to everyone who attended.
